The Newberg Soccer Club (NSC) provides several options to play soccer during the winter month. In addition to traditional indoor soccer, we are now offering Futsal as a developmental program for U10 - U14 players.
Futsal* (U10 - U14)
Our Futsal Program is for the very motivated player who finds learning to be fun and takes team work seriously. What makes Futsal different from soccer? Players keep the ball close to their feet and they keep it moving. Comfort with the ball and quick decision making are increased. The ball is smaller and it is not supposed to bounce. No walls are used. This is a passing game, it is NOT kick & chase soccer.

We contiunue to support the formation of indoor soccer teams* during the winter months. We do this as a community service: helping players and coaches find each other.
YOUTH (K – 8th grade):
These teams will play at the Sherwood Field House for one or both of the following eight game seasons:
Winter I Winter II
mid-Nov to mid-Jan mid-Jan to mid-Mar
Each season will cost approximately $50 (plus $15 for reversible jersey if needed) per player. Teams most likely will play on Saturday between 8am and 6pm. Outdoor cleats are fine. The location and frequency of any practices will depend on what the team-families and the coach can arrange. Join the fast-paced fun of skill and competition:
NSC PLAYERS (Competitive): Talk to your Club coach regarding your interest and plans for continuation with an Indoor team or Futsal.
CPRD COACHES: Take your Fall CPRD outdoor team indoors or organize your own team. Sign up your team at the Sherwood Field House. Or if you have most of a team and need a few players, contact James (below) for available players.
RECREATIONAL PLAYERS: Contact James Stephens by email - nsa.indoor@gmail.com - or call him at 503.803.6395. He will collect your information for a possible team in your age group. Please include the following information:

HIGH SCHOOL and ADULT (9th grade – 99 years) Recreational Coed:
These teams will play at the Sherwood Field House for one or both of the following eight game seasons:
Winter I Winter II
early October to late-Dec early-Jan to early-Mar
Each season will cost approximately $50 per player. Teams will play on Tuesday nights after 7pm (Schedule to be determined). Outdoor cleats are fine. Join the fast-paced fun of skill and competition.
As a bonus, we will offer a one time indoor Clinic to all registered players on November 4. Contact Joe Landes (NSC.Indoor@gmail.com) to schedule your team on a first come, first sever bases.
