NSC supports an array of outdoor soccer activities for both boys and girls. They range from friendly introductions encountered during "Soccer in the Park" (Spring 2008 again) to competitive engagements for 5th through 8th graders.

NSC is a member of the Oregon Youth Soccer Association (OYSA) which governs 56,000 youth players across Oregon. NSC is a gateway into soccer leagues designed for players who want to develop and compete beyond the recreational level.

U11 & - & U14 Players Compete in Classic League This year all of our teams will enter Classic competition. The Classic League is OYSA’s competitive league that places U11 - U14 teams of similar ability into brackets.

U11 Classic Teams will play in regional groupings:

• 12 League games (Mostly Saturdays/ Some Sundays)
• Away games involve travel between McMinville and Portland.
• 2 -3 Tournaments (Typically: Qualifying, Chinook, Harvest, or Presidents Cup)

 

U12 - U14 Classic Teams:

• 14 League games (Saturdays/Sundays)
• Away games involve travel usually within 30 min. of Metro Portland, but may need to travel state-wide.
• 3 Tournaments (Typically: Qualifying, Chinook, Harvest, Presidents Cup)
