Outdoor Youth Recreational programs are available in the Fall for ages 3 to 14 years old through CPRD.

Youth Indoor

Indoor Recreational Soccer for youth begins play in November and takes place in Sherwood and Tualatin (depending upon the age group and coach preference).

Move indoors with your current team or gather some players and make a new team.   Registration is done through the respective facility.   The Sherwood Field House registration information can be found at www.sherwoodfieldhouse.com.  Tualatin Indoor registration information can be found at www.tualatinindoor.com.

 

Adult Indoor

 

NSC is once again encouraging an adult COED Indoor Soccer League. This is a time to experience personally what your younger children and teenagers may be doing on a weekly base. It’ll be a little easier since we will be playing indoor soccer, so there’s almost no out-of-bounds.

 

We are inviting you to form your own team and register directly with Dennis Doyle (doyled@ci.sherwood.or.us or 503-925-2330) or forward your information to Joe (nsc.indoor@gmail.com). Information needed includes Name, Email, Phone, Gender, personal playing experience (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced), desired playing night (Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday), and Play-With requests.

 

The format will be different from years past. Instead of having an entire evening devoted to Newberg teams playing with modified rules, we will need to join existing COED leagues playing at the Sherwood Field House in Sherwood.

 

• All players must be 18 years of age or older (subject to change to 16+)
• No less than 2 women are required to be on the field at any time
• Roster size is unlimited, but each team may only bring 15 players per game. A good team size is between 10 – 12 players, with 5 – 6 players from each gender.
• There are 3 evenings available that feature different levels of competition. League play starts the first week of November and will run for 8 weeks.

• The Field House will accept only team registrations with a team fee $400 if paid in full prior to the first game and will increasing to $450 after that.
• No more: player swap, playing for more then one team per evening, goal limit per player, more 3 line rules (except goalie), indirect free kicks allowed by men…
